Tsumi to Aku
Directors:
Yuki Saito [齊藤勇起]
13-year-old Masaki was murdered in his small rural hometown. His body was discovered under a bridge in the center of the town. The town was overcome with fear and anxiety after his murder. Haru, Akira, and Saku were classmates with Masaki. The three boys suspected an old man named On-san as the murderer. Masaki often visited and played with On-san. The three boys went to On-san's home, and a physical struggle ensued. One of the three boys ended up killing On-san. 22 years later, Haru now runs a small construction company that doesn’t mind doing dirty jobs. Akira moves away and works as a detective. Due to his father’s death, he returns to his hometown. Saku works in his family business, which involves agriculture. After many years, Akira sees Saku again at his father’s funeral. One day, a boy's body is found again under the same bridge. The case is eerily similar to Masaki's case from 22 years ago. Haru has a connection with the deceased boy. Akira meets Haru while investigating the boy's death. By meeting each other again, the three men face the case from 22 years ago that they buried deep within their minds. (Source: AsianWiki)
