Hikaru Kujira

The story is set in a 50-year-old municipal housing complex, inspired by the urban legend "Isekai Elevator" that spread on internet forums. Shimura Ito, who works part-time at a convenience store, visits the municipal housing complex where she lived during her childhood to trace the whereabouts of her missing childhood friend, the up-and-coming novelist Takashima Hakaru. Riding an aging elevator, Ito steps into a parallel world that closely resembles the real world but is entirely different, where she reunites with people who disappeared from the real world.
