Kim Soo Chan is a South Korean trot singer. He graduated from Hakik High School and later obtained a professional bachelor in Music from Baekseok Arts University, then enrolled in the Practical Music program at the Korea Arts Conservatory but is currently on a leave of absence. He debuted in 2012 with the album "Audition" but struggled in a very competitive industry until the following year when he appeared as an impersonator of trot legend Nam Jim and people were curious about his identity. He then entered "Mr. Trot" and finished in 10th place but gained a lot of fans during the competition.
